FLIGHTS
The Minneapolis−Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is the closest airport, located about a 15-minute car ride from the venue and the nearby hotel with a room block. Car rentals, taxis, uber, and lyft are all available from the airport.
LODGING
Hotel Room Block
Our hotel room block at the Courtyard by Marriott, Minneapolis Downtown is now full, but rooms may still be available at their regular rate. This hotel is a 25 min (1.2 mile) walk from the venue or just one stop on the METRO Green line.
Alternative Hotel Suggestions
1. Hampton Inn (Minneapolis University Area) - This is a 15 min (.6 mile) walk from the venue and includes free breakfast.
2. Hilton Garden Inn (Minneapolis University Area) - This is an 11 min (.5 mile) walk from the venue.
3. Graduate by Hilton Minneapolis - This is right across the street from the venue (very convenient) but more expensive.
PARKING and TRANSIT
Courtyard by Marriott Hotel Parking
There are three parking options available either adjacent to or across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott (our hotel room block). The overnight rate ranges from $10-25 depending on whether you choose an uncovered lot or parking garage.
McNamara Parking
Our recommended parking is in the adjacent University Avenue Parking Ramp: 1926 University Ave. SE, Mpls. 55455
Please note that during the Summit, University Avenue is scheduled to be closed between 15th Avenue and Walnut Street for construction. Parking is still accessible in the University Avenue Ramp, however, we encourage you to plan for heavy traffic and potential delays.
To access the University Avenue Ramp during construction:
- From Washington Avenue, drive north on Walnut Street. Continue straight (McNamara will be on your right).
- Turn left onto temporary two-way University Avenue
- Expect increased traffic and possible delays
There are other nearby parking facilities operated by University of Minnesota Parking and Transportation Services. All University Parking facilities are available on a first come, first serve basis and are available to anyone coming to campus.

Public Transit
If staying at the hotel room block at the Courtyard by Marriot, a car is not required. The venue is one stop away from the hotel on the METRO Green line. More detailed information on using public transportation to get to and from the venue and hotel will be provided closer to the event.
