About the Summit

Each year the Monarch Joint Venture (MJV) and the Rights-of-Way as Habitat Working Group (ROWHWG), host an annual partner meeting where we invite our national networks of monarch and pollinator colleagues to an in-person gathering of experts, advocates, and stakeholders dedicated to the conservation of monarch butterflies and other pollinators.

We are thrilled to announce that in 2025, we are broadening the scope of this meeting to incorporate monarch conservation partners from across North America! Please join the MJV and the ROWHWG at the 2025 North American Monarch Summit!

     When: June 24 - 26, 2025

Where: McNamara Alumni Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

Who: MJV and ROWHWG partners, and professionals from across North America engaged in monarch and pollinator conservation efforts, including professionals from science, education, community engagement, habitat management (including in energy and transportation rights-of-way and agriculture sectors), policy, government, and academic fields.

New in 2025: Also save the date for a Public Outreach Event and reception in the evening of Monday, June 23, 2025. This evening event will be open to the public but we would love Summit attendees to join us as well! You can also host a table at the Monday night event, where we ask that each table provide an interactive activity or game - such as hands-on demonstrations or educational games.

Please fill out this form if your organization is interested in tabling! Applications submitted before February 1 will be given priority consideration and notification will be given before Early Bird Registration concludes.

Scholarships

This year, we’re excited to offer a limited number of need-based scholarships, with applications being reviewed starting on November 1st. We encourage you to apply early!
