The MJV is pleased to announce that Bayer Crop Science has joined our national network! Since 2015, Bayer has been directly involved in monarch conservation activities across the United States. They are a global enterprise with core competencies in the life science fields of healthcare and nutrition. Their monarch and pollinator work centers on three pillars of commitment including increasing pollinator habitats in agricultural communities, driving and encouraging conservation conversations through diverse partnerships, and reaching new audiences through education and outreach.
Bayer is a major agricultural technology company that brings innovative solutions and technology to farming communities. They are committed to collaboration through research and habitat initiatives and to help facilitate conversations related to agricultural innovation and products related to monarch conservation. Bayer was a founding member of Famers for Monarchs in 2015 and continues to support farmers, ranchers, landowners, and the agriculture industry to encourage and enable the expansion and establishment of pollinator habitat. They are an active supporter of the Monarchs and More Western Habitat Program, providing financial support for plant materials to help increase native pollinator habitat in the West. No stranger to partnership, Bayer actively collaborates with many MJV partners across the U.S., working closely with the network to provide education and outreach opportunities, install and enhance habitat, and communicate and advance science concepts.
The MJV continues to lead with an “all hands on deck” approach to conservation and understands the need for diverse partnerships and perspectives. We look forward to continuing to partner with Bayer, as well as helping find common ground between industries and conservation. Bayer will bring their collaborative approach to research and habitat initiatives to the network and lend a unique perspective to the MJV network.
