We are excited to share that Hartman Lavender Garden has joined the partner network! Hartman Lavender Garden formulates clean skincare focusing on high-quality botanicals and chemical-free ingredients that come from the founder’s garden and local honey hives. They love creating quality skincare that is derived from plants and backed by science. As a small business based in southwest Ohio, their non-toxic line of products can be found in local shops and gourmet grocery stores.

Whitney Hartman founded Hartman Lavender Garden in 2020 during her graduate studies with Project Dragonfly and Miami University focused on plants and pollinators, in particular, monarchs and milkweed. Inspired by the motto, “plant more milkweed,” their business model incorporates sustainability with monarch and pollinator education in their community.

They connect their growing customer base with their clean skincare line as well as their conservation efforts. At vendor shows and pollinator education workshops, they share about the monarch life cycle, teach customers about waystations, provide milkweed and wildflower seeds, and inspire locals about the best practices for attracting monarchs and pollinators to your garden. Hartman Lavender Garden has been using MJV’s educational handouts and resources for a number of years and is looking forward to connecting more deeply with the monarch conservation community through this partnership.

Hartman Lavender Garden is also a proud member of MJV’s Monarch Marketplace, a platform where we feature businesses that are committed to donating a portion of their proceeds to support our monarch conservation efforts. They are donating 50% of profits from their conservation apparel line, monarch stickers, and monarch washi tape to MJV. Check out their custom designs on their website.

We are delighted to have Hartman Lavender Garden’s enthusiasm and passion for conservation and community engagement in our network.
