Carolyn Fritz
Carolyn has spent her career building new biotechnology businesses with a key focus on using fermentation to produce sustainable products. She currently serves on early-stage company boards and is an operating partner at a venture capital company. Growing up in Minnesota, hiking, camping, and canoeing in the Boundary Water Canoe Area, she developed a great love of the outdoors. She remembers the vast number of monarch butterflies and other pollinators she saw as a child and hopes to help their return through her work with the Monarch Joint Venture. Ms. Fritz has her M.B.A from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University.
