Afton Gale
Online Education Assistant (she/her)
As an Online Education Assistant, Afton works to advance MJV’s learning material by developing projects such as adult and early education activity workbooks. Afton is completing her third year as a Sociology major at the University of Minnesota. Growing up on the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin, where the St. Croix and Mississippi rivers merge, Afton was able to explore a wide array of natural environments. This beautiful variation further compelled her to learn about the world around her and the interactions that take place. Afton currently lives in Minnesota and enjoys hiking, kayaking, arts and crafts, and being a member of her beloved community.
