The MJV is pleased to share that Inovateus Solar has joined the partnership! Inovateus Solar is a solar developer and engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) firm based in South Bend, Indiana. Contracted by major companies, such as Lightsource bp, they provide end-to-end solar development services for large-scale solar fields across the country. Specializing in solar farms in the Midwest, they emphasize sustainable best practices, including agrivoltaics and solar-pollinator habitat, to maximize land use.
Inovateus has integrated pollinator-friendly practices into their solar projects, creating habitat for monarchs and pollinators. To date, they have planted or are in the process of developing over 1,570 acres of pollinator habitat, including the Honeysuckle Solar site and the Cincinnati Zoo solar array. They continue to explore new ways to enhance biodiversity and incorporate pollinator habitats into their projects sites.
Inovateus Solar brings a deep understanding of the solar industry and the potential to create new habitat opportunities through upcoming solar projects. They believe that more solar can mean more habitat and are committed to collaborating with project partners and local communities to make this a reality. By joining the network, they aim to connect with other solar companies and conservation organizations, tap into shared educational resources, and promote the value of integrating pollinator plantings with solar installations. We are excited to have Inovateus Solar join the MJV Network!
