Meet Our Staff
Program Director (she/her)
As the Program Director, Christine supports MJV's staff working on education, outreach, partnership, and communications initiatives for monarchs and pollinators across the U.S. As a growing national nonprofit organization, Christine also supports MJV's evolving financial and operational systems, and fosters a collaborative environment for staff, board, partners, and other stakeholders.
Born and raised in central Wisconsin, Christine completed a B.A. in Spanish and Music from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Since then, she has gone on to work for nonprofits and social enterprises across the United States and in Central America. Her work brought her to Guatemala, where she spent a number of years working in experiential education, community-based development, and nonprofit management. Christine earned an M.Ed. in Environmental Education from Western Washington University and also holds a certificate in Nonprofit Administration & Leadership from North Cascades Institute. When not at work, Christine enjoys poking around her vegetable garden and exploring green spaces throughout the Twin Cities.
