Anna Haggenjos

Field Technician, Monarch Butterfly Habitat Monitoring (she/her)

Anna is one of the Field Technicians for Monarch Butterfly Habitat Monitoring this spring and summer. She will be traveling throughout California, surveying BLM land for milkweed and butterfly populations. Anna is from Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from the University of Saint Francis with a B.S. in Environmental Science and Biology. During college, she gained a passion for the conservation and restoration of tallgrass prairies in the Midwest. Her love of prairies led her directly to an interest in insects and butterflies. Anna also loves to draw, go to concerts, hike, and drink coffee in beautiful places.
