Jenna Totz
Senior Education Manager (she/her)
As Senior Education Manager, Jenna leads the growth and strategy of Monarch Joint Venture’s virtual education programs, including webinars, online courses, and educator-facing resources. She oversees the Monarch NECTAR Hub, expanding its reach and impact by developing accessible, science-based learning opportunities that support monarch conservation across communities. Growing up in the Midwest, Jenna developed a lifelong love of the outdoors and learning about the natural world. She earned a degree in Secondary Education from St. Cloud State University and spent five years teaching 8th grade Earth Science before transitioning to the nonprofit sector, where she led climate change education efforts at Climate Generation. There, she developed curriculum, provided professional development for educators, and advanced climate literacy initiatives for youth and the public. Jenna holds a master’s degree in Natural Science and Environmental Education from Hamline University and a Minnesota science teaching license. She lives in Minnesota with her husband, two kids, and little dog, and loves cooking and finding great restaurants, traveling, and spending time outdoors with her family.
