Jenna Totz
Education Coordinator (she/her)
As Education Coordinator, Jenna works to grow MJV’s virtual education through webinars and online classes. She manages the Monarch NECTAR Hub, which offers a number of courses for the public to take. Growing up in the Midwest, Jenna has always enjoyed being outside and learning about the natural world. She graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Secondary Education and taught 8th grade Earth Science for five years before making her way to the nonprofit sector leading climate change education efforts with Climate Generation. She wrote curriculum, provided professional development for educators, and led climate literacy efforts for youth and the public. Jenna holds a master’s degree from Hamline University in Natural Science and Environmental Education and a Minnesota science teaching license. Jenna currently resides in Minnesota with her husband, two kids, and two dogs. She enjoys exploring natural places, eating out and cooking at home, traveling, and just playing with her kids.
