Remote Sensing Field Technician Specialist (they/any)

As a Remote Sensing Field Technician Specialist through the Individual Placement program with the Conservation Corps Minnesota & Iowa (CCMI), Cory supports the science programs at MJV. They use Integrated Monarch Monitoring Program (IMMP) protocol and remote sensing technology to quantify the density of common milkweed and other pollinator-friendly plants. Cory was raised West of the Twin Cities and graduated from Cal Poly Humboldt in California, where they studied Environmental Science, Indigenous Peoples, Natural Resource Use, and the Environment. In their free time, they enjoy hiking, gardening, biking, skating, painting, piano, and sewing.
