Welcoming Natural Habitat Adventures to the MJV Partner Network

After years of working together, the Monarch Joint Venture is pleased to officially welcome Natural Habitat Adventures (NatHab) to the MJV partnership. Since 1985, when the company’s first tour took guests to see harp seals in Canada’s Gulf of St. Lawrence, NatHab has been working to provide people with up-close experiences in nature in an unobtrusive manner, with trips averaging just nine guests. This includes African safaris, Galapagos Tours, Antarctic journeys, and beyond, as well as its Kingdom of the Monarchs tours to monarch overwintering sites in Mexico. Read More

The Pizzo Group, with the monarch butterfly as its logo, recognizes the importance of preserving habitat for monarchs and other pollinators. Nebraska Monarchs provides free native plants and garden plans on its website to help community groups and individuals create their own micro-habitats and make a measurable impact on the amount and quality of pollinator habitat in Omaha and surrounding areas. MJV awarded NEEF biodiversity conservation grant to turn wildfire into a win for wildlife

Monarch Joint Venture is pleased to announce a new pollinator habitat restoration project in the Southern Plains, made possible by a Biodiversity Conservation Grant from the National Environmental Education Foundation. The project will restore and enhance over 1,100 acres of public land at the Concannon and Finney Wildlife Management Areas in southwest Kansas, in collaboration with the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks and Ducks Unlimited.
