- French-Canadian entomologist Charles-Étienne Ferland shares how community science is helping map monarch breeding habitats across Canada and how this work sustains hope in the face of ecological loss. Through stories of milkweed surveys, volunteers, and long-term monitoring, this webinar explores “hope as a practice” and the lessons learned that connect people, places, and monarchs across generations and continents.
- Do you have an idea on how to get people excited about Monarch conservation? Sara will go over lessons learned from her own 10,201 mile bike ride/publicity campaign, and discuss the differences between conservation strategy and tactics.
