Stacey Goeckeritz

Field Technician, Monarch Butterfly Habitat Monitoring
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Stacey grew up camping, hiking, and fishing in the Wasatch Mountains. She eventually moved to Oregon to pursue a BS in Environmental Studies from the University of Oregon. Since then, Stacey has worked allover the West in a variety of seasonal positions that focused on botany, wilderness/trails, forest restoration and sustainability, and fish and wildlife. She is currently enrolled in Colorado State University’s online Fish, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology Master’s program. Stacey is excited to continue growing her skills and knowledge in all things related to conservation and to contribute to the MJV team (and of course see as many monarchs as possible).
