Habitat Details
We practice sustainable chemical-free gardening with the focus on native plants. In the fall we collect seeds from our plants. We have installed dripping system regulating the amount of water each plant needs. We also collect water from our shower while waiting for it to get warm and use that water in our garden. Since we have a lot of Milkweed plants which typically get infested with aphids, instead of using pesticides we hose them off once a week. We compost on the rooftop and add that compost to our soil.
